The Loughborough Cancer Self Help Group
The Loughborough Cancer Self Help Group applied for the Leicestershire Funding Toolkit Small Grants for Small Groups fund and successfully received £100 towards a specially adapted boat trip with the Peter Le Marchant Trust for its members on the 19 May.
The Loughborough Cancer Self Help Group was formed in 1983 by cancer survivors to help cancer patients and provides friendship and practical help to cancer patients, their carers and families.
The group meet regularly on Monday nights (except Bank Holidays) 7.00 p.m. to 10 p.m. at John Storer House, Wards End, Loughborough and are a friendly, sociable group who enjoy being together, helping others and have lively discussions.
