Small Grants for Small Groups

To celebrate the development of the Leicestershire Funding Toolkit and the New Year a small grant fund was made available to groups operating in Leicestershire.  Groups were offered the chance to apply for up to £100 for equiptment or materials which will benefit their activities.  Following the closing date and with 230 applications received, groups have now been infomed of the outcome.  With a massive oversubscription comparable to the £5000 funding pot origionally made available, the Leicestershire County Council raised the level of funding to allow for 175 applications to potentially be funded.  Upon reciept of purchase groups who were successful in their applications received a cheque to reinburse the costs of their purchase.  

The following organisations and groups were successful in their applications and have now claimed up to £100 for their materials or equiptment purchase;

A big Well Done and Thank You to all groups who applied to the Leicestershire Funding Toolkit New Year Fund.  Please watch out for case studies of successful applicants which will soon be made available from these pages.  For those who were not successful we hope that the toolkit can assist you in providing other useful sources of funding.
