How will you manage the project?
Funders are always interested in how you will manage the project or activities and in particular how you will ensure that the money is well spent. There are a number of factors here that will be of interest to the funders:
How are the beneficiaries involved in planning and managing the project or activity?
How will you make sure that you take account of any risks in delivering the project or activity?
Who ultimately will be responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out?
How will you monitor and evaluate the project or activity?
Do you have any quality standards?
How will you account for the money?
All these issues are inter-related but again it is good to try to answer these questions before putting pen to paper in an application, rather than deciding the answers to these when you are asked the question on a form. It is just good project management!
